MVS Chess Wins SWOCC Team Tournament

The MVS upper school chess team won first place at the Southwest Ohio Chess Conference (SWOCC) Team Championship, finishing with a record of 3-1. Three MVS players were named Tournament All-Stars: Nik '27, Madison '25, and Caleb '27.

The Southwest Ohio Chess Conference was co-founded by MVS senior and chess club president Ben '25 to bring together Southwest Ohio's scholastic chess community. WOCC will hold its Individual Championship later this year.
