A fourth-generation commercial real estate professional in Southwest Ohio, Matt Arnovitz ’78 has made a name for himself representing clients such as Dayton Newspapers, Kroger, Anheuser-Busch, and Goodyear. In nominating Matt for the Distinguished Alumnus Award, classmate Jeff Samuelson ’78 wrote that in addition to being highly respected in the realm of real estate, Matt possesses a “pioneer spirit,” a passion for community, and exemplifies the ideal of compassionate global citizenship enshrined in the MVS mission. In Jeff ’s words, “Matt is one of the biggest supporters in the MVS community: he is overt in his love for the school and has given MVS his time, treasure, and talent for decades.”

Matt is a former trustee of MVS, and he is also an alumni parent to Stephen Arnovitz ’05 and Michael Arnovitz ’07. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati as well as numerous professional affiliations and accreditations, including serving as the president of Ohio’s Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the chair of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors Commercial Industrial Committee.
