MVS Student Earns Dayton Art Institute Scholarship

MVS seventh grader Aliyah R. '29 just completed a week of study at the Dayton Art Institute as part of the competitive Dorothy Myers Yeck Middle School Scholarship Studio. Aliyah was selected for the studio program after submitting a portfolio of her recent work, with support from MVS art faculty members Emily Trick and Elliot Ward. At the studio, Aliyah relished the opportunity to learn from top teachers and meet other talented middle school artists from around the Dayton area!
